In Alanya you will find a plenty of nice beach areas. You have to be careful with your feet, because most of them are grounded with rocks and are slippy. Especial for the time when the waves come along, you should be very careful, not to crash your feet or body.
A very popular beach area for tourist is the so called “Cleopatra beach” which is located before you reach the castle. Instead of rocks on the ground, you will find sand there.
Along the long coast line from Alanya which goes down until Kargicak you will find about 90 so called “beach bars” with basic installations for your service. Only a very few of them offer international quality in case of service, hygiene and food.
Beside thoose “beach bars” where you have to pay for your stay, you will find many “public beach places” where you can stay without additional costs.
Gold colored areas shows you the best beach areas of Alanya. Starting with he area before the international marine harbour, going through Cleopatra beach, moving to OBA and Kestel area and finaly ending in some parts from the sea in Mahmutlar and Kargicak.
For the time, you want to go to the most nice beach around Alanya, you have to go to Gazipasa. You will find the most best sea water there and only a few of the nice places there are grouded with tourist.
Its around 30 minutes to go to Gazipasa from Alanya Centrum with the car. On the way to Gazipasa especialy when you take the old beach road, you will find some other nice beach areas (marked golden) too.
